Everybody wants to get rich quick. Anybody with any sense knows it won’t happen over night, but there are some great paying careers that don’t need as much education.
Technical and Trade Jobs
If you want to have steady work, consider a course of study that qualifies you for a career in electronics, plumbing or the construction industry. These degrees can be achieved in about two years. In some cases, you can start working under a licensed professional as an apprentice, and take classes on online.
Whatever you choose, the construction trades pay a solid income. Many economists believe that the top jobs of the future will be electricians, plumbers and construction staff. Just think of the booming future of things like energy technology. It will take qualified electricians to build and keep up windmills, solar power systems, and other alternative forms of energy.
As the economy improves and construction starts back up, the jobs will definitely be there.
Public Service Jobs
Firemen and policemen still have to have a higher education, but the certifications and degrees take less than two years. EMTs and paramedics are also in high demand, so if you like helping others, you can be well on your way to a new career in no time.

Other associates degrees that will have you making good money in medicine are X-Ray technician, lab technician, certified nurses aide, medication aide, or physical therapy assistant.
These are just a few of the great jobs waiting for someone who wants to get to work, making good money, with just a few years of higher education.
